Carolyn's Dream

When Carolyn Morgan learned cancer had invaded her body, she knew time would be very short and yet time had no hold on her dream for revitalizing the community she had called home for the past five years.

Carolyn's Dream

When Carolyn Morgan learned cancer had invaded her body, she knew time would be very short and yet time had no hold on her dream for revitalizing the community she had called home for the past five years.

Carolyn Morgan

Two days after she received the diagnosis of terminal cancer Carolyn called her husband at about 6 am. Her mind had been working most of the night on what she wanted to do with her last days and she was so excited she just could not wait to share her plan with him. She had decided to devote what time and energy she had left to launching a campaign to redevelop Adventist Home into a facility that would be a blessing to seniors and to the community and would also be an honor to God.

She was hoping she would have four months to develop a campaign to the point where the rest of us could take over and carry it on to completion. She only got a few weeks but in that time and with her limited energy God enabled her to inspire people and to generate progress that no one else has been able to achieve. As she was making notes for her plan she wrote.

“I cannot, you cannot,

but together we can.”

God gave her just enough time to share her vision and to plant the seed. Inspired by how much God was able to do with the little time and energy she had, together we can finish the job God inspired her to start.  Join us in helping to make Carolyn’s Dream a reality.
